SEDONA, which has been supported by many anglers for its reliable fishing performance at a reasonable price, has been renewed. At the core of the new evolution is the SILENTDRIVE, which is also featured in the flagship model. The SILENTDRIVE greatly reduces rattles, gaps, and shaking between the internal parts of the reel, resulting in a reel with smooth spinning performance and a quiet reeling feel. The new reel is easy to use for lure fishing, for which a delicate reeling feel is important.

The Rod

Utilizing materials and construction methods that provide cost-efficient performance, we have developed a rod range that is purpose-built to suit New Zealand fishing conditions. At the core of the Vortex is a Power-Carbon composite blank. This is constructed using a combination of glass and graphite which offers a perfect balance between strength and sensitivity.

The result is a durable construction that achieves relatively fast blank recovery. Leveraging this versatile design, the Vortex features Titanium Oxide Seaguides for trouble-free line management, comfortable EVA grips, a Shimano graphite reel seat, and rubber gimbal knock.
