The Shimano Stradic 4000 spinning reel is one of the greats! A high performance reel at a mid range price, it has had many adaptations over the years but stayed true to the name. Phenomenally balanced, with great power and durability, this is hard to beat value for money wise. It features X-Ship gearing, which not only makes the fishing experience much more enjoyable with ultra-smooth retrieves, but also gives you more grunt when cranking in those larger saltwater species.
Paired with the reliable and sensitive Shimano Divergex rod, this is a great set for targeting large snapper, trevally, kahawai, blue cod and gurnard with lures.
